Thanks for posting, I've been many times to Blacktoft over the years, but for photographers, there's only 1 hide that is close enough for really sharp pictures. I've also taken bearded tits and tree sparrows, redwing and fieldfare in the winter months there. As you say, sometimes the high tides and floods bring the waders a bit nearer, which helps.

Nice video Shaun. Back end of last November I saw around three dozen Barnacle Geese near the River Hull at Beverley. First time I've seen them. How common are they? Do you see many around?

Lots of geese on the Humber estuary, some of the rarer varieties such as dak-bellied brent geese, and some barnacle geese yes - but never seen them in the quantities you mention.
