Last year I did most of the NH and Maine sections on a Honda PCX 150. Didn't do the Maine ADV sections and MT. Washington doesn't allow scooters. It was pretty slow going but loads of fun. No mechanical issues -probably from going so slow. I'm a fat old guy in my 60s.

Maybe BDR could create an app so riders could plan routes/link together, in real time pinpoint spots on the route that maybe closed/blocked etc etc. could be very neat and helpful and get people out there that may be hesitant to otherwise. I would definitely use it. Maybe there’s already such a thing?

I dig the hard stuff. Don't ever take out the gnarly sections. Some of us live for those. The big boys can reroute if need be. That's where the excitement is! Good stuff. Love the rides and well produced.

Amazing to see how the BDR organization has grown over the years. It is incredible how you have created this brand with your passion, dedication and hard work and how far it has come! Congratulations on having established another successful route.. and on continuing to build on this legacy which will impact so many riders and the communities you have brought them to. Kudos to the team and to the legendary Mr. Noren for producing these incredible video stories for us to follow and have a small taste of what we can experience by following your routes. Thank you!! Ride on!!

Thanks for all your hard work in putting these together. I've ridden the Idaho, NM and Mid Atlantic routes. Looking forward to the NE in a few weeks. Having spent hours creating routes and tracks to ride in Ca, Oregon, Nevada and Washington, I appreciate the time and effort it takes to do this. It sure makes it easy for us to simply download the tracks/routes you created then ride them. Also, a big thumbs up to Butler maps-what a great resource they provide. On another note, seeing Mike Lafferty ride brought back memories of the Quicksilver National Enduro when he was on the row in front of me and we had about two minutes to catch our breath at the first reset!

Mike Lafferty, from Mauricetown NJ? Family’s been riding east coast/nj enduros for years. I was wondering who was cowboying that KTM off all the rocks! Ktm sponsored a demo day a couple of years ago in Downingtown pa and he was the leader of the pack! Now I recognize him. I was a Delaware Enduro rider and had many a good time in the pine barrons.

Beyond the bikes, the views, and the people...comes the true generosity and kindness that all these folks give to make this happen. Personally I can't wait to complete all the BDRs, and I thank y'all so much for all your hard work. It's so amazing for all these small towns and the true Mom &Pop establishments, the routes will bring consistent visitors and money to these places that deserve it. As a father of 2 daughters I absolutely love that there are multiple females on this trip, it's encouraging for so many young women to see this.

We rode Sections 3 and 4 at the end of May. October Mountain was phenomenal, hands down the most rewarding experience I've had on a bike. Took the easier alternates for the first couple Class IVs in VT, then tried my hand at Tabor Road, and it kicked my ass on the 1290. I am amazed by what Jocelin can do on the 1200GS. Looking forward to getting into NH and Maine in the near future. Thanks for putting together some great routes! Only constructive feedback I have is it would be great for the GPS tracks to have like a ski-mountain difficulty label for the different stages, though it's always condition dependent.

@bravofighter2 жыл бұрын
@@savage22bolt32 GPS tracks are a series of navigation waypoints that your navigation system (even smartphone mapping apps) use to guide you along a pre-set route. If you use Apple or Google Maps you can add points and create a route anywhere on the planet, and then share it with others so they can enjoy it as well. Basically, it’s just a high-tech version of using a grease pencil on a Jimapco atlas and mailing Xerox copies of it to your buddies.

He said that there were now BDRs in just about every state, and so I looked it up and here it was! 🤩 My wife and I are SUV overlanders, so I may have to go motorcycle shopping😂
