We kick off our 8 day trip across the North East with Niagara Falls and The Adirondacks.

Very cool vacation , except for the bugs. Living here in the desert we do not have very many flying bugs. I know that when I go back east this year I will have to buy some light colored clothing and Proven bug repellent to keep them away. Looking forward to part 2 of your adventure. For 2023 come join me on a Colorado/Utah trip. I am sure that we can get more southerners to join us for an awesome unforgettable trip to the San Juan Mountains and Moab.

Oh man, not sure when you did this but ADK black flies are def an issue from May-July. 😅 MRP is great for camping I enjoyed my trip there last year. Not a ton to explore there. Unfortunately one of the only areas besides a few state forests that have free primitive camping. NY kinda sucks for that, which is why I’m going to PA so often.

I've lived in Upstate NY for 8 years and finally went to the wild center with my daughters last month. I couldn't believe what I've been missing by just going a few more hours north! The drive alone was worth it.

We had a great time there! There are tons of places to visit up there and we only had time for a few of them. We'll definitely have to get back up there.

Black flies all the way up to Maine! And YOU are on the menu! LOL If you get to the Toyota Dealer Early and they take you right in, I would hope they'd have you on your way in no more than 2 hours. A lift and the right tools and it really isn't complicated to replace the whole CV axle. I don't think they rebuild them anymore. Just stupid money for new OEM! Too bad they won't use a Trackmotive Extreme Weather Heavy Duty Aftermarket. Less than $100.

@@SpartanOverland IMO, Political Correctness is the biggest failure of society self policing and allows the bad to get huge mileage on hard working honest folks. Say it like it is and jam them. It's what bad people deserve. Enabling the bad is like a sickness that becomes societal cancer. Meanwhile the few that try to speak up get crushed instead. WTF? TRUTH has been removed from conversations with PC. Now everything is based on PC lies. Cause it hurts bad people's feelings? And is used against us. Good luck!

No, it was on the northern end of the Adirondacks. Those gps coordinates are right on top of it.
