I was on that island when there was only a couple of sheds and the generator was turned of at 8 p.m. after that there was only candles.... amazing resort but i feel blessed to have seen north island in its natural state (1977)

@@waimeagrl5142 Hi there:) We are not hit in terms of infected people although we do have a few cases. Our first few cases were definitely imported, via the airport.I might want to correct that in a few days though because our government was too slow to call for a lockdown to help reduce spread. We have had one latest case 5 days ago and the victim has surely spread the virus in the community which is where my fam live on the main island:( I dread to think that the ones he has infected may in turn infect others too. Anyway it Is a waiting game for now as we are finally in lockdown and soon more cases will come up. We are not fit to deal with this virus in everyway because we do not have the resources like the bigger countries. So far we are doing ok with the few cases. We have had no deaths. A Dutch tourist who was in ICU for a month is stable and demanding our delicious creole food so i am quite proud of our good gesture. Must be our very hot climate slowing down the virus slightly though this is unlikely. When I said hit badly I meant the Economy.We depend solely on the tourism industry and this is not blooming at the moment obviously.We import almost everything too. Keep Seychelles In your thoughts or prayers if you can pls. Pls visit us once this is all over.We welcome your business😉😊😇

@@liveandletlive7152 Hello! I live on Hawai'i Island (aka Big Island) with a population of just over 200,000. To date, we have 33 reported cases, 25 have been cleared and the remaining 8 are self-quarantined at home under the watch of our State Health Dept. Thankfully, no one has been hospitalized and no one has died. We have a stay-at-home mandate and only go out for essentials. One positive is it's nice to see the lack of traffic. I hope the Seychelles fairs well during this horrible time and life can get back to some type of normalcy. Stay safe, stay healthy and I hope to visit your beautiful resort and island someday...soon. That brings back great memories, we stayed there about 6 years ago, it was the last of a 3 island holiday, it remains and always will be my favourite place of all time, our second night there the only other couple left so we were the only guests on the whole island. The villas are incredible along with everything else, it was a once in a lifetime trip as it’s very expensive, but well well worth it !!! I love the Seychelles, were going back for a fourth time in May, CANT WAIT !!!!

@@luxurytravelexpert Agree as far as more pristine than all of the Hawaiian islands to include Kauai which is the most lush beautiful Hawaiian Island. However the Carribean has a number of Islands which are comparable to both Seychelles/ Maldives. Turk's and Caicos (#1), Bahamas, Grenada, Bermuda, Barbados, St Lucia etc

the "shizziling noise" when the waves draw back from the coast... is like ... ok now i archieft full happynes. This Video bring back so many memories, good & sad "Emotional"... i went to the Seychelles Island back in 1986 for a week of R & R while on my 9 month deployment in the Navy during the beginning of the Somalia Revolution which we called "The Somalia War"... I seen things and did things i never thought i would.... we were suppose to go on a Liberty Free Deployment for 6 month and going into the Harbor of Hong Kong our first liberty port, we ended up doing a U-turn right in the middle of the Harbor and headed straight to Somalia. For the next 4 month it was 16 to 18 hours day off loading Marines, doing Beach Landing, Lookout Patrols, etc... we couldn't write letters to our family, in short we weren't in contact with anyone but your fellow Shipmate, that was your family for the time being. After the first 4 month, the mood on the ship was at a LOW!!!, so our Captain asked our Task Group Cammander if we can go to the Seychelles Island for 5 days of dire need of R & R. We finally arrived at the Island and it was the most Beautiful place I've ever been to. Would love so much to be able to go again. After those wonderful 5 days at the island, it was back to Somalia for 4 1/2 more months of the same mentioned above. It took 21 days to get finally back home which was the port of San Diego. Thank you so much for posting this Video, i watch your Videos all the time and i love them all, but this one was Special...Thanks Again...

Only problem would be privacy and peace for the other guests. Not only could a drone invade privacy (even unintentionally) but it's quite noisy too, so would break the peaceful atmosphere. (tLTE - I know this is on your mind as I've notice you always consider your fellow guests).
