Mt. Chokai is so glorious! Nice! Great weather that day as well! Interesting to see a trail I've never walked. I started at Hokodate both times (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE).

It's such an amazing mountain! I think you'd enjoy The Yunodai Trail, but I have to agree, Hokodate is so varied over what I think is a great distance for a day hike.
