My grandpa was born in a province that now belongs to NK. He came to SK before the two Koreas were divided. He visited his aunt's house in Seoul with his brother for a couple of weeks when the Korean War broke out. He has never been able to meet his parents and the rest of his family ever since. My grandpa passed away last month and not only was it hard to take in the fact that I cannot see my grandpa anymore but I was so sad that he never got to meet his family and couldn't even know if they were alive or not because of the result of the Korean War.

I did the DMZ tour in May 1982, through the USO in Seoul. The briefing at Camp Bonifas was very thorough. The Joint Security Aea is a very dangerous place, but I left there better informed. It also allowed me to technically add North Korea to my list of countries visited. Herman Hamilton MSgt. U. S. Air Force

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life.

DMZ RULES: 1. Never Wear Jeans 👖 in this Area. Due to NKs Accusing Jean Wearers Americans. 2. Never Wave At The NK Guards. They’ll think you’re mocking them. 3. Always Wear ID in the Premises at all times. If you’re a Tourist, wear your ID. If you’re a Reporter, Wear Your 기자 (gija) Armband at all times. 4. Never Pass the Soldiers To your Left And Right. If you don’t obey this rule, you will get Shocked by they’re Stun Watch. 5. Never Say 미국 (Miguk) in the Area. 미국 means America In South And North Korean-Korean. And it will stun the NK Guards and they will report you to They’re Leader. 6. Don’t make Hand Suggesters Facing North. Both sides are very tense. The NK Guards will get startled by Boos and Scare Pranks. 7. Whisper Always. If you talk loudly, then The NK Guards will accuse you of exposing your Thoughts. 8. Never Run. NK Guards will think you’re a Defector, disguised as a Tourist. 9. Never Naruto Run. They will Think you’re a Japanese due to Japan Invading And Colonizing Korea Since WWII. 10. Never Bring Illegal Breed Pets. The Breeds like German Shepherd, Bulldog, Pitbull And others Are not Allowed in the Area. 11. Never Touch Kim Jong Un’s Stuff Left At The DMZ. Cause He Does Not Want Anyone Touching His Stuff *I will Edit this while I Research The Other Rules.*

Excellent report. Very good sound but, unfortunately, there was a post production engineering failure to correct the black levels. They are all too high resulting in the low contrast, "washed-out," and low chroma scenes when viewed on a properly adjusted TV or video monitor (not a computer monitor).

I was on the same tour bus as you to the DMZ on August 19th 2017! At first I was wondering why you and the bloke with the camera were always last back on the bus after every tour stop. Then, I was walking alongside you as you recorded the Freedom Bridge segment, and it clicked - ah, I bet she's making something for KZbin. Then, when we reached the border, I overheard you asking the US soldier if you could film inside there. He said he'd ask his superiors. I'm guessing he said no, so you had to go back another day (in the same clothes!) as part of a Media group to film the bits where you're wearing the blue armband. I thought this video was seamlessly put together. We only had 20 to 30 minutes at each tour stop, so you must have filmed every segment in one take. You obviously did your research and planned every shot in detail in advance; but also ad-libbed some other stuff, such as the K-pop bit (where I make a brief cameo appearance for 1.5 seconds, at 4 mins 19 secs, in the background, stepping down from the telescopes, dark trousers, rucksack, baldy head). This video is a great souvenir for me of the most fascinating day trip ever. I look forward to watching more of your reports. Keep it factual, keep it neutral.

The DMZ is not suppose to represent the whole border, it's suppose to represent the buffer zone between between the two Korea's. The zone is well suppose to be a place where negotiations take place and by my guess is meant to be a area where neither armies are allowed to step on

If I remember correctly, when locking the North Korean door from the inside of the blue hall, the south Korean soldiers form a human chain to prevent them from being pulled through by North Korean soldiers. This was in response to a South Korean soldier being dragged out. During the tour I was told that he made it back, but after doing some research, I don't think that he did.

Nice report! From what I have researched online is the South don't seem interested anymore with the idea of Unification. Today's generation anyways....They realize the only benefactors would be the North whereas the South would have an influx of culture shocked ppl from the North with no skills to make a go in a democratic nation. The new South Korean leader seems steadfast with the US in maintaining a strong stand against the North's threats. In the beginning, it seemed the opposite but I'm sure the US leadership quickly got involved to show him its better to stand with a fist over arms out in friendship. I hope for a peaceful resolution but each day seems to draw these two nations closer to confrontation.

I not going to lie, I originally clicked on this vid to see the very attractive women in the thumbnail. But as the vid went on I started to learn the history of Korea which I never knew & found very interesting to hear about. I completely forgot about why I originally clicked on the vid & just focused on what she was reporting, which is how it should be. For those who are saying she's just there for her looks to get more views, if you look at the end credits she's not only a reporter but one of the producers for the show too. Not just for looks guys.
How did I get in North Korea? Pyongyang, Wonsan, Masikryong ski resort.
