Russia has been fighting wars since Afghanistan, Georgia, Syria, Chechnya, they've lost over 670K men in Ukraine's war so far, the N. Koreans? Not so much. Russians losing over 1k men a day, expect the N. Koreans to lose just as many, different fighters in same uniform, same result.

You are right, the 10,000 North Korean soldiers can hardly replace what Russia loses in its own soldiers in 10 to 14 days. I don't think that fat Kim will be prepared to send endless supplies if hardly any of his people come back alive. Above all, he is not doing it for free; he expects Russia to deliver something in return.
