I would argue that it isn’t in Ukraine’s strategic interests to allow Russia to continue functioning as a military industrial economy. Every refinery they leave functioning just prolongs the war.

Now that North Korea has entered the battlefield, Putin can hardy object if NATO chose to use its airforce to fly cap over Ukraine and destroy any aircraft, missile or drone entering Ukrainian airspace and take out the aircraft, Vessle or terrestrial facility used to launch those weapons even, if they are sited deep within Russia.

Polyus produced the first metric ton of gold from ore of the Sukhoi Log goldfield, the Russian goldminer said on its official Telegram channel. "We started pilot development of the field this year, produced the first bullion in September, and the first metric tons in recent days," the company said. "While exploration and engineering of the plant and construction of associated infrastructure continues here, mined ore is processed at Verninskaya gold extraction plant. We upgraded a number of its sections as well as purchased more than thirty new trucks and built a road to haul ore from the open pit," Polyus said. The first metric ton coming from Sukhoi Log is a project milestone, the company said. "This field is the largest in Russia and one of the most promising worldwide. Reserves of the Sukhoi Log under an international classification are above 1,350 metric tons of gold," Polyus added.

Syrsky himself tried to downplay the F-16s just before they arrived saying that they would have to hang back from the front because of the heavy air defenses of Russia. That they would have to operate at least 40 miles behind the front. Well, it seems he was right about that at least.

The police look into an assault on a reporter from the Moscow Region, who attempted to interview British diplomats arriving in Moscow, the Russian Interior Ministry press office told TASS. According to the ministry, a 23-year-old female freelance reporter working for a news website contacted the police asking to take measures against an unidentified person, who caused her physical and moral harm at the Vnukovo Airport. She stated that she was making photos and taking videos as a part of her editorial task and attempted to interview British diplomats, who arrived in Moscow. It was then that an unknown man, who was meeting the delegation - presumably, an embassy employee - shoved her, causing her to lose balance. The Ministry noted that if the claim is deemed valid, a procedural decision will be made despite the potential status and immunity of the perpetrator. The ministry intends to act in accordance with the Russian law, seeking to restore justice and to achieve inevitable punishment regardless of the perpetrators’ citizenship.
@JulieSmith-x8g3 сағат бұрын
Photos of diplomats shouldn't be taken by another country of any diplomats entering or leaving any country, that's a common practice, as its putting their lives at risk. They have diplomatic rights. So she shouldn't be taking photos

The Russian foreign trade volume can be above $700 bln as of the end of this year, Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service Vladimir Ivin said in an interview with RT television. "I think if we are above the [foreign trade volume] value of $700 bln and one bln metric tons, it will be a good year," Ivin said. Russia managed to restructure logistics and its financial profile amid continuously growing sanction pressure, the official said. China, India, Turkey and member-countries of the Eurasian Economic Union are main trade partners of Russia at present.
