Greetings from America. Believe me, I grew up barely a kilometer from this train station! I grew up in Block B, North Nazimabad. We kids used to walk to this train station and often take the rides to Landhi or SITE stations. Landhi seemed so far from home, like end of the world. From Landhi, we would just take the return trains back. I think the fare was 'Char Aana' (25 Paisa) per trip. We sometimes put coins on the tracks and enjoyed as the passing train would flatten the coins. The trains were mostly on time, were open air and breezy. It makes me extremely sad to this the station in such disrepair. Shame on the Pakistani govt officials. And your sad music makes me want to almost cry watching this video. I have been gone for many years from Pakistan but who can forget such childhood memories.
