Very nice village. I enjoyed watching your video. The music, the still shots, and effects make it a well done video! Thank you for sharing!

This is fabulous!!! I just can't image how you planned and put it together. The way you hid your cords and boxes on the accessories is amazing.

Thank you very much and we are so happy you enjoyed it. We actually keep the display up year round in a room we call "The North Pole". There are so many times during the year that it's just peaceful to go in there, sit in the rocker and watch. Merry Christmas to you and yours.... Peace always!

In our house it's never too early for Christmas. Now if we could only figure out how to keep that magic, peace and spirit of giving alive all year, we may have a much nicer world! Merry Christmas and thank you very much.

Absolutely awe inspiring! I love how you did your blue backdrop and kept the theme consistent throughout, nice lighting (and darnkess), too. The perfect look of the North Pole if ever I've seen it! Thank YOU for sharing! You've got me excited to set up mine now! Have a Merry Christmas 2016 ! D M Heinzman, Indiana

Thank you for your very kind words. The original "backdrop" (the part behind the trolley section and the left side of the main section) is actually the wall painted in various hues with sparkle glued on. The remainder (the right side of the main section) is a vinyl backdrop we had made online. We absolutely love Christmas and we love sharing the smiles that are such an important part of the Season.

I words of one syllable. Wow! Cool! Great! Nice! Good! Awesome! Oops! Over 1500 views too already. Jealous! ;) I'm heading for Pigeon Forge in Tenn tomorrow. They have a shop called the Incredible Christmas Place. The dept 56 there is always inspirational. Thanks for sharing. Love! IT!

Thank you sir for your kind words. We have been to the Christmas Shop in Pigeon Forge you mentioned...it is truly awesome! Don't know if you are a Harry Potter fan, but we just completed a year long project of setting up a "Tribute To Harry Potter World" Hogwarts Express Village. Please have a look, the link is below, and feel free to share. Merry Christmas to you and yours! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJPdoICBgK-Mobc

I'm envious - we had to order most of our village online. We've picked up a few from various stores. Our very first house was from a Liquidator store!
@jeromeandheatherbrundage65628 жыл бұрын
No need to be envious.....truth be told, most of what we have has been purchased online or made ourselves (such as the flying balloon and the parachuting bear). Each village is a representation of the person who makes it.

Awesome!! Very inspiring! Love the lights used, love the decorations, love the movements, love the stills, love the music...just love everything you have put in it! Thank you so much for sharing!! It excites me to set one of mine now but being in India, it is difficult to get them online :( However, this sets to the Christmas season that is already setting in. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

Love your village! It has such a great balance of moving parts (in different directions). What is the trolley piece you are using? I love that it travels back and forth without needing lots of room.
@jeromeandheatherbrundage65628 жыл бұрын
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like. The trolley is simply a Bachman On30 scale Christmas trolley. The trick is, you have to purchase special reversing track that will allow it to stop at each end and then continue in the other direction. Also, it is advisable when you tun off your village, the trolley not be sytopped at either end (for some reason, when you start it up again you have to give it a little nudge). Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you again for your support.

I love this set up. I would like to add that Hot Air Balloon to my display. But I can't find it anywhere online. Does anyone know who makes it and where I should look?

How did you do the river? Did you make it? I love that your village has lots of movement. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my goodness. I just watched your video a second time and just realized you have both the stationary 56Dash Away balloon ride as well as your own animated elf balloon ride in the air. This is great! Did you build this yourself? What is the piece you used? Sorry for so many questions, but I'm entranced!
@jeromeandheatherbrundage65628 жыл бұрын
The one balloon ride on the right side is simply another Dash Away with the "balloon" replaced by a lighter weight ornament. Both this and the bear on a parachute on the left side are powered by small hobby motors (Micro Mark has them for about $24). They are attached to the ceiling with an extension arm coming from them. Then fishing line is dropped down to accommodate the piece. (for further details or questions, please feel free to contact me at sirbearheart@hotmail.com )> And thank you very much for your kind words.
