This bass player is brilliant, I absolutely hate concerts where there is mostly no bass, very very good recording/mixing thank you. Very rare to hear so many good musicians together and the female singers are top of the notch

THIS CURRENT Chic N O T that C H I C any longer when juxtaposed into comparison to the original one of 1977. All one gotta do is dig up the original vid version of I WANT YOUR LOVE - and a blind can see and feel the difference. The sublety and sensitivity was on totally another, not just level but in different realm. Not just the question of the original bassist + drummer dead - but the overall dynamics and approach has lost a lot from those days. This group is not bad, but they simply have lost the touch w their much more heavy-handed beat & general roughness of the show. Hate to say this, but the nuances just ain t there no more. This feels like drudgery, not magic levitation it on e was. The original female vocalists had it all, these CHICKS certainly don t. "The Thrill Is Gone" , could be their new Banditional Anthem ...
