North & South is my top favourite period costume drama...EVERYTHING in it is absolutely amazing...specially Mr. Richard Armitage & Ms Daniela Denby-Ashe (the chemistry between them is phenomenal, which i believe, makes this story is so breathtaking...and this work of you for Mr. Thornton & Miss Hale is brilliant...the music match so well to their story...good job

poldark the new version and north and south are the two shows i have watched a thousand times , i bought the dvds so can watch them over, this particular song really suits this show,loved it when richard goes to see where margaret lived,the end scene on the train is the most romantic thing ever thanks for letting me see it again

I just found your lovely video, since I was ignorant of movies for a long while. I lost a lot of time, but I am making out for that period by watching it now relentlessly and realizing how beautiful North & South was. Just amazingly beautiful! Thanks.

In the movie version, I got the sense that Higgins wanted to make sure Thornton knew Margaret was embracing her brother, not a love interest. I also think Higgins knew iMargaret would bail him out financially if he’d just get over himself and seek her out. Higgins was observant and clever. He knew there was strong love on both sides.

my favorite movie - this is beautiful - the music is haunting-I had never heard it. I thought it was touching how much his mother loved him and how connected they were - when she is so hard and cold to everyone else. You could see how hurt he was in the scene when he said "look back, look back at me." I love the train scene -wonderful video - thank you for making a new one for all of us to enjoy!

A gorgeous, touching video, truly. I can't believe how well this song goes with "North&South". I especially liked the part "Hold on, be strong", it really looked as if Thronton's mother was saying those exact words to him. Also, great editing!

Loved your focus on both Thornton's relationship with Margaret as well as his mother. They have many common qualities--that's why he loves and admires Margaret so much and why Mrs. Thornton can see what's happening between her son and this Southerner. Excellent work!
