Matt from Demolition Ranch sent me here.... Watched the build of the Bronco and he did a great job on the rebuild. It was great to see you and the family enjoy the heck out the bronco. Safe travels. Looking forward to seeing the road trip.

I lost my younger brother and his daughter/my niece game me his truck. It's a 2001 SVT Lightning. I was kinda shocked and very thankful. It means the world to me. I've been watching Matt for years so I've seen the Bronco story from start until now. It's a sweet truck, It's awesome to see you out enjoying it, and now all it needs is at least a rear locker and better header gaskets. The only downfall with most headers is they tend to get exhaust leaks often. lol.
@TimfromAlabama2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you definitely need some lockers. Still, Matt doing what he did to the Bronco...he's 1 in a trillion. Much respect to him. Safe travels. I'll keep up with you along the way. Another subbie here to a guy who loves offroading his vehicle and not just a pavement packer. We're a slowly dying breed in most places now. Take care.

I hope you leave the body paint the way it is. I loved Matt's reason for not painting it.
@travisanderson42632 жыл бұрын
FYI, Matt kept talking about limited slip ect. That thing has no lockers. Meaning each wheel is fee to spin independently. If the front springs don’t loosen up over time, you’ll probably need a softer spring rate. Praying for safe travels on your journey brother!! 🙏

It looks like it will be an interesting one might want to stop and get air compressor so when you get a dicey spots you can air down the tire pressure you’ll be surprised how much more traction you’ll get.

Sounds like a exhaust leak or hopefully not a lifter tick. It might just be the design of the header but it would drive me crazy for 4500 miles
@VoslickZ2 жыл бұрын
It sounds like an exhaust leak to us too, but I’ve tightened the flanges on both headers and no change. Everything else is welded.
@NWoutdoorsman2 жыл бұрын
@@VoslickZ I remember a buddy of mine had some tri y headers on his small block Chevy and no matter what they sounded like they had an exhaust leak.
@killer00342 жыл бұрын
@@VoslickZ Matt had an issue with the first exhaust from the shop wouldn't surprise me if a manifold/header was cracked or bad gaskets. also would look into a front dif locker or lsd

i was thinking it was exhaust leak or something along those lines,and it would drive insane too lol

Does it have an exhaust leak? You might want to look at the collector gaskets and look for cracks in the header tubes.
