No one will read this comment, but this must be mentioned. The woman in the front with the straight brown hair moved me so emotionally. She is putting all of her effort into singing and she is so in love with the sound everyone is making. She is so invested and it makes me so joyous.

Chills! Literal chills!! Lyrics: "North" by Sleeping at Last We will call this place our home, The dirt in which our roots may grow. Though the storms will push and pull, We will call this place our home. We’ll tell our stories on these walls. Every year, measure how tall. And just like a work of art, We’ll tell our stories on these walls. Let the years we’re here be kind, be kind. Let our hearts, like doors, open wide, open wide. Settle our bones like wood over time, over time. Give us bread, give us salt, give us wine. A little broken, a little new. We are the impact and the glue. Capable of more than we know, We call this fixer upper home. With each year, our color fades. Slowly, our paint chips away. But we will find the strength And the nerve it takes To repaint and repaint and repaint every day. Let the years we’re here be kind, be kind. Let our hearts, like doors, open wide, open wide. Settle our bones like wood over time, over time. Give us bread, give us salt, give us wine. Let the years we’re here be kind, be kind. Let our hearts, like doors, open wide, open wide. Settle our bones like wood over time, over time. Give us bread, give us salt, give us wine. Give us bread, give us salt, give us wine. Smaller than dust on this map Lies the greatest thing we have: The dirt in which our roots may grow And the right to call it home.

I'm a fan of Sleeping at Last. I used to be a member of a choir here in our church way back 2012 to 2016. And watching Vancouver Youth Choir sing this song, makes me miss my co-fishes even more!😢😢😢 Until now, I have regrets on leaving the choir. How I wish it's easy to come back. I miss being a part of *OMPHP YOUTH ENSEMBLE* 😢😢😢

This is absolutely gorgeous and incredible, actually made me cry. Though the song itself means a lot to me so that contributes lol. Hearing it done by a choir is super powerful, your tone is so pure, the dynamics were emotive, it was just so good!!!

I love this arrangement and your lovely performance. I would like to perform this with my choirs in Australia. I read online that this arrangement is available for a donation to a charity, if this is still possible I would love to find out how I would be able to obtain this arrangement. Thank you
@jvm15084 жыл бұрын
If you would like to perform the piece, Sleeping at Last asks that instead of paying them, you donate to one of their favourite charities - an initiative that has raised thousands of dollars to date. Once you get in touch, they'll give you a list of charities that Sleeping at Last supports, and after you make a donation to one of them and provide proof, they'll give you the score for free. You can reach the band at kim@sleepingatlast.com.
