Northampton Pride Wings

Festive Road was commissioned by Northampton Borough Council to make a wings sculpture for Carnival, and their Pride Festival. Even though these physical events were cancelled, there was a Virtual Pride Northampton - and we are thrilled to be able to share our wings as part of this event.
You will be able to see the 'Pride Wings' around Northampton at various events in 2021, before they go on public display locally.
The main components for the piece are old bicycle parts and donated scrap metal - and the sculpture stands at 1.5 metres high, and has a wing span of 3 metres.
