Northbound N-1: Pere Marquette 1225 to Cadillac 10/27/24

On a cold fall afternoon, a relic from 1941 makes her way up to Cadillac, MI. Pere Marquette N-1 Class 2-8-4 "Berkshire" number 1225 cuts through the remaining fall foliage on it's way North with the "Cadillac Limited". This is the first time that the 1225 has headed up to Cadillac since 2018. Sporting a fresh running gear rebuild, the engine struts her stuff in multiple scenes.

My special needs son loves trains 🚆🚟🚋🚞🚝🚊🚉🚈🚇🚅🚄🚃🛤 especially steam locomotives like 1225! But he does not like wind turbines at 2:41 he says they spoil the scenery and that fuel cells are a much better green energy source than wind turbines and solar panels!
