leah didnt get married by choice , she was avictim of circumstance, and when we read on we see God comforting her Jesus came from her lineage, love is not carnal, Gods love isnt carnal, love in marriages shouldnt be carnal, love is a choice , this preaching is very wrong on so many levels, its based on carnality and throws away the work of the holyspirit in us, the fruits of the holyspirt are being ignored, and that story of leah is totally miss understood

I really agree. I came here seeking advice because of the division and turmoil in my own marriage, but I didn't even get to watch the sermon because I saw this comment and your statement "God's love isn't carnal, love in marriages shouldn't be carnal" really hit me. He is calling us to a higher law. And then you continued about the work of the Holy Spirit in us and Amen... therefore we should glory in our infirmities, for in our weakness is the fullness of his strength! Thank you, Lord, for keeping us near the cross.
