I have a question...I was baptized at a very young age but it wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned what repentance was..did I not receive the Holy Spirit? Should I be baptized again?

Thank you so much for reaching out. If you didn't understand what repentance was when you got baptized. We would encourage you to get baptized again. Understanding is the main thing God requires before baptism. You want to be confident that you were taught and understood before you were baptized. It doesn't cost you anything to get baptized again but time, but it will ease your concerns and you can move forward with full confidence!

@@NorthColonyCoC thank you so much...my minister just passed away and the elders that baptized me when I was 8 I don’t want to offend by asking to be baptized again but I for sure want to be part of the body of Christ.
