Nope Northeast was never slumming but I would say they had a period in maybe 95-96 where they wasn't the hottest band in the city, to me 92-94 was the best run and then they picked it back up in 97-98, Jeff left the band in summer 96 and Stompdogg 1st show with them was in Sept 96, once Stomp really got his feet wet with NEG they really started cranking.

@@MrTdollarsign I co-sign that cuz of the 95 96 back had that thing but sometime in 97 North went on and took a hold of that thing 98 they had the game in the chokehold a lot of people don't know 94 North sounds different than any year North ever had and they probably are the only band that got two classic years 94 98 some might say all the way up to 2000 but that's just me

@@worm1013 Another thing about NEG in 97 is that 32 also left in August 97 & people had to get use to them having a 2 man frontline with Rah & Hugg until Gene Pratt came on and then 32 came back in early 98 and they was back cranking and then 32 left again in January 99 smh, its like they always had periods where they take off and then have a little setback, I still thought they was good in 99.
