People of Sikkim are really genuine and honest. I will narrate one incident, during our visit to Nathu la we had very less cash in hand. Our can driver who was a local from Sikkim stopped us in many ATM but they had run out of cash. Whatever little we had was spent on buying woolen clothes as we were not expecting Nathu La to be that much cold. While returning we were left with very little money to pay for our lunch. We informed that to can driver he said not to worry and to have food. He informed to the hotel owner that we will be paying him the price for the lunch in Gangtok and later on when he will come for his next trip to Nathu La he will settle the amount with owner. The hotel owner agreed to that.
