Wow, you all need to chill. Brody has stated from day one that he wants to play close to home. Everyone telling him to go to another team, seriously? its not that easy, he has help put Danbury on the map, he has been playing better and better, he has said that the comments do effect him personally so give the guy a break, if you watched all his videos like we have he has consistently played better and better himself, thats what matters, hes getting his points, and hes, they lost most of their players from last season and have not been able to secure more players, but constantly harping on him to leave the team he basically built non stop doesnt help him mentally, it most likely makes him feel crappy, he has his own reasons for doing it his way so give him some breathing room. He has earned it. Try bein supportive instead of knocking him, the team, the coach, it definitely has a effect on him. Cheers

Brody I hope you read this. You need to request to be released/traded to another team for your last year man. They will understand, if they want the best for you. You’re under contract so they have to release you or trade your rights. Go to a team with a winning tradition, full roster, and most importantly consistent recruitment to colleges. And go somewhere again away from home so you can live that experience somewhere else. Like Wisconsin. I’ve been in your position, you’ve worked hard enough for 2 years almost carrying a team. And that’s not slamming your teammates and their efforts. Only having 14 players is not how it should be. Lastly, the NA3HL should be ashamed you guys play the same opponents over and over again. @@Topcheddertuddy there are a whole lot of teams that fit that consistently recruit players to college. Even plying in the USPHL instead of the NA3HL is an option. And I can guarantee any good team would rather have a 2 year junior veteran and captain, than a brand new rookie player on the roster.

I understand your sentiment for Brody, but I have to be honest with telling you that you're misplaced in your assessment. Brody is a great player at a Tier 3 Jr A level. The reality is that there is little money to be made and few prospects to be developed at this level. The NA3 and USPHL Premier are, In many ways, an extension of AAA youth hockey. You have 4th Liners/Scratch players paying $10-15,000 and 1st liners paying very little, and even playing for free at times. In order for Brody to get consistent recruitment from colleges that aren't competing in the ACHA, he's going to need to make, at the bare minimum, an NAHL or NCDC roster. The brutal truth is, these guys are competing in the final "pay-to-play" level of hockey, and tons of the money they are spending is getting funneled into their NAHL facilities for kids who will play at a Collegiate level. I'm not saying it's fair, but it's the way it is. You can't pay your way onto an NAHL or NCDC team, you straight up have to earn the roster slot.

@@dave3617 I don’t need an explanation of junior hockey but thanks. And I am correct with my assessment of what’s going on. I never once said playing NCAA D3 is a possibility. We’re talking ACHA all day with tier 3. I know all about players paying to play that should not be playing junior hockey at all. All of tier 3 is watered down like you wouldn’t believe. The point is there are plenty of teams that would love to have a good 2 year veteran player on their team. I never said pay your way to be on a NAHL team as well cause that doesn’t happen. It’s a real league where if you aren’t good enough, you’re gone.

Yeah, probably but it’s not completely apples to apples. I would say the NAHL would be like Canadian Junior A in some cases, depending on the team. Now the USHL is probably better than most Canadian Junior A but not as good as Major Junior. Unless you consider the USNDP. Those kids are all going to be high end D1 players and just about all of them are going to get a shot at the NHL.
