Northern California weather forecast | Foggy Wednesday, rain and snow overnight

Wednesday will bring another foggy morning for Northern California. Later in the night, people may start seeing some wet weather. Meteorologist Dirk Verdoorn said the thickest fog will be around the Sacramento Executive Airport, with about a quarter-mile of visibility. There may be some fog in the Stockton and Modesto areas, but not as much in comparison to Sacramento. Rain chances arrive around midnight with steady rain through Thursday morning. Verdoorn said showers will increase by the afternoon. The Sacramento Valley could see up to a half-inch of rain.
