Northern Norway Part 1 (Nordkapp, Tromsø, Vesteralen) On the road with a motorhome

Join us on our motorhome trip to Northern Norway in August / September 2019. The first part goes from Rostock to Nordkapp and then on via Tromsø to the Vesteralen.

From Berlin to the Nordkapp
After southern Norway in 2017 we finally wanted to travel to the north. From the planning stage it was clear to us that it was impossible to travel the entire northern part. Initially, the Nordkapp was not on our wish list either. Too far the distance and sheer endless driving. However, if we wanted to go so high (to the Lofoten Islands), we could also take the Nordkapp with us. And so we decided to travel through to the Nordkapp, from then on, to drive a little more leisurely in a southerly direction.
After five days of endless driving through partly varied and partly barren nature, we arrived at the Nordkapp (parking space fee 57 euros / night!). Do you have to visit it now or can you safely leave it out? We have no answer to that. We saw it and don't need to go there again.
The weather on the trip to the North Cape was very changeable and ranged from 12 ° C to 19 ° C. It got windier on the North Cape.

From the North Cape to Lofoten
After the very tiring days of driving to the Nordkapp (due to the road conditions and reindeer that kept appearing), we drove along the E6 in much shorter stages. We were partly free, partly on campsites.
