I was born in Birmingham UK. I moved away in the mid 70's. I have always and will always love northern soul and am so happy it has endured for all these years!

well I was around when northern soul started !! but I followed the motown route but started following northern about 12 months ago and am totally hooked now. better late than never lol

I noticed a flyer from Up The Junction.....did you ever go to South Cheshire College, Crewe for the Northern disco from 1967-1970? I was the DJ.

It is strange that all these sounds are unknown in the US. I live in Denver and used to go to the Torch, Catacoombs and other places in the midlands area.
