As someone whose watched this person since I was a kid, up until nowadays with huge bursts of breaks inbetween, I was so worried this video would be a small like analysis video on how his career suicided. NL from like 2016 and prior was an entirely different streamer. He talked different, his shows were different, what he joked and talked about was different. Everything. I stopped watching NL a while ago because I was a fan of the old style and not so much of the new style.

Man, it's strange to think about NL today. Funny thing is, I owe my ability to speak English to him - back in 2012 or so, I found about Isaac, but there was no content on it on Polish YT, but he already had a bunch of videos on it. Mind you, back then I was 13 and could barely put together a sentence, but the game was so interesting to me that I just bingewatched everything he had, and multiple times too, at first barely understanding most parts of what he was saying, but the more I watched, the more I understood, then found out about other creators I actually could - much to my surprise - understand quite well. Years passed, I somehow became the most proficient English speaker at school, and Northernlion kind of faded from my memory... until today. It's nice to see that he is still going.

2011 viewer here. Really is a monolithic realization to wake up to no new isaac videos every day, and see that hes moved on. KZbin has truly changed into something completely unrecognizable since i started watching vids in 2009. I dont really know how to cope with change. I just hope whatever NL does now. I wish him and his family happiness.

I always thought 2014-15 NL sounded a lot like BaerTaffy. The change really weirded me out at the time, but I'm starting to realize how commonly it happens when someone talks a lot for a living.

ngl all of these new TBOI only youtubers coming out of the woodworkes would definitely replace nothernlion. From Lazy Moth man to Lavencas, they play very well for being relatively new. Sinvicta and Butts will always be my favorite Isaac based youtubers. Sadly Tears of grace stopped but I guess hes happy with what he is doing with the card game.
