PROS OF HAVING A MOUNT: 1. You essentially have 3 extra hearts, like "armor" 2. You have double-jump + "Yoshi jump" 3. With turkey you have cape, or shoot fireball or bubble 4. After turkey dies you have another bonus heart by cooking it CONS OF HAVING MOUNT : 1. You can't go up ladders/ropes 2. You don't have spiked shoes' effect 3. Bigger hitbox 4. Smaller melee attack hitbox I personally think the Pros outweigh the Cons. NOTE for NL : You *can* take the turkey down past the boss. You just need to make him dig through the floor, which is easy by double-jumping over him.

This is a reason why Vulcana may be better than Jungle: on Jungle you rely on the secret shop to get mobility items, which happens quite often to be fair, but when the shop fails you basically throw away the run. Vulcana at the very least gives Vlad's cape 100% of the times, which means that you will be very mobile on the Olmec fight

As far as moon challenge profits, people of completely average, realistic athletic prowess would need multiple mattock swings to clear away a dirt tile and many more to clear away a brick tile while only having the jumping capability to reach up and ledge grab a one tile height. Most would also only have one or maybe two hearts of HP instead of four (or more) and lack big enough stomachs to eat an entire roast turkey, much less several. And her most likely customer base are probably cavemen and tiki men who while stronger, don't really understand what they're doing. Also she probably doesn't plant the gems and gold dust in the dirt so much as rent out rights to mine at it (she might place the crates, bow, and treasure chests in there specifically to act as prizes).
