Goodness, I'm glad he found the bullet reflection mechanic. I wouldn't have known otherwise and the combat looked a bit boring and samey without it. Would have been a great disservice to the game.

Yeah, it's less the art style (unless you wanna use art in a broader context which I suppose you can) and more the color palette that leaves such an impression. Shows how using restraint with certain colors and greatly emphasizing others can really make something stand out--not that I'm hating on stuff that's just super vibrant either. :P
