If someone asks you to look after their bag in an airport, you not only say no, you call security and point them out. That is _beyond_ shady. They specifically ask you "has your bag been in your possession at all times" when you check in. Also it's kinda ironic that he makes a questionable remark on airport security on episode 911...

To preface, I do a Ryan all the time and bring my bags to the bathroom and stuff. But everywhere I’ve flown, including NY and in Europe, I’ve witnessed people ask others to watch their bags. Not really shady, imo. They’ll ask the nearest person who’s been hanging around already, and they’re always polite enough to say yes. Granted, it’s probably one of those things where if something did actually happen to the bag, they might not really care, but still, I see it happen without issue consistently

Daniel Manning I've traveled extensively and I've never seen it. As I've already stated, they are required to ask if you packed your bag yourself, and has it been out of your sight since you packed it. That way if something is found in there, you can't say "oh I didn't put that there." I find it flabbergasting that you claim to see it all the time. Perhaps you saw the persons traveling companion do it? Not a complete stranger.

I think what he means is that they use the term "foreigner" in Korea (and basically every country that is predominantly ethnically from that area such as Japan and China) for people who do not look like they are the dominant ethnicity. IE if you're a Korean citizen, even if you were born in Korea, if you are white, black, or otherwise non-asian looking, they will still refer to you as a "foreigner".

I live in Brisbane, Australia and I only just realised how polite and nice everyone is here after nl’s politeness bit. Like, outside of shady areas and the city centre/ extremely busy areas EVERYONE says hey or g’day or how are ya going and the expectation is you either reply with a smile and a nod, ask them back or answering honestly and then asking them the same. Anyone else have a similar experience? Edit: and at servos or something, when you are at the cashier, I at least will have a polite conversation about our days whilst the transaction is being made, if it is a longer one, or at least make an effort to say hi how are ya hope you are doing well and will get the same back

When I was on vacation in NYC (I am from Germany) I did find it the whole "How are you today?" pretty unusual. Even restaurants asking for your name and calling it out was completely new to me. You would not experience that anywhere here unless you are taking the service of something like a small family business. I do prefer it the way I know it though

As a retail working, asking "How are you?" to a customer is literally just in the job description, and we risk getting verbal warnings if we just treat customers like sources of revenue. I think the difference lies in the size of the store.

if someone asks you to watch your bag and its full of drugs, chances are there's a security camera anyway, so even if its suspicious, nothing short of a bomb is gonna be bad on your end. i've asked a few people to watch my bags only when i have to pee really bad and i'm flying alone, so i think its a way lower risk thing to deal with than you're making it out to be

I've heard this rant before, and I wasn't gonna say anything, but I really would like to share my side of things. If I'm checking your groceries and I ask you how you are, I think you should say good. The alternative is complete silence for 10 minutes. This is a bit old but he already took a deal with the devil, making it impossible to get an angel deal. The number went from 0 - 100% because of the sacrifice room but I think the "You feel blessed" effect is just hardcoded into the game. Also Atur, no, in regular circumstances, that was a 100% deal with the angel chance. The inverted cross represents the likelihood of him getting a deal and the regular cross represents the likelihood of it being an angel deal. So it was just the devil deal precedent that caused these events.
