Just catching up on the cine videos and thought id drop some NZ film tech cause i just got through the peter jackson videos- NZ movie tech from a kiwi film industry worker - Hit things like Tin Tin, Both Avatar Movies, Ghost in the Shell, 50 shades of night & Taika Waititi projects as an escape route. All of these are filmed in NZ, and our film industry is tiny so its highly likely to share our actors in bit parts. Like i know peter feeny from black sheep is has a bit role in 50 shades of night. Joel Tobek from eagle vs shark is in avatar 2.

I find that there is often a way out from scandinavian movies (and probably other smaller movie markets) through actors who've gotten tiny shots in Hollywood, or just obscure american fair: Force Majeur, as a scandi-french collab, has Kristoffer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), who shows up in "Cocaine Bear", "the Fate of the Furious", and "the Thing" (2011-version). Magnus Millang in "Another Round" is in "Kursk: The Last Mission" (US: "The Command") from 2018, with Colin Firth, Lea Seydoux and Max von Sydow. Alternatively, since our industry is tiny, memorize a couple of homegrown titles by the few well known scandinavian directors (Lars von Trier, cough), especially if you're ahead a skip. Between them, they will contain what feels like any actor and wannabe in the country for the last 20 years. Thomas Vinterberg, the Director of Another Round is arguably most famous for "the Celebration" (which is fantastic, if weird and dark as all hell). Noone is getting out of that if they're not a) Nordic, preferably Danish and/or b) a bigger movie trivia sanctuary than NL, in which case, you were never going to win.

Noah Baumbach is a director/screenwriter who is also the husband of Barbie (2023)'s director Greta Gerwig and they've collaborated on movies before. He even co-wrote Barbie! Depending on the opening and the movie, you could potentially trap them after 3 X'ing Greta Gerwig, provided the opponent doesn't know much about the movie/cast. Florence Pugh and Laura Dern both starred in Greta Gerwig's Little Women (2019).
