NL, the whole purpose of the Eagle is to pill it to try and get an uber-early build-around tier 6 unit like a Trex, dragon, snake, etc. You pretty much want to pill it as much as possible (although if you can pill a level 2 eagle to get a level 2 t rex it's incredibly pog, but you're risking getting a level 2 sauropod or mammoth)

Eagle isn't just pill fodder, it's basically the highest form of spider there is. It can be made stat strong and when it dies it might make something still-useful with still-not-shitty stats

It overkills for the first few rounds, but putting meat on an already strong unit lets you pivot freely since it's pretty much a permanent +5 on that unit. 6 attack is only good enough for so long, and that usually ends when garlic shows up
