I'm playing on Chess.com -- these aren't sponsored videos but the site seems pretty cool.
Chess has been having a resurgence in popularity this year so I have finally acquiesced to semi-popular demand and started to play a bit. First, let's hone our skills and get a little more warmed up and then let's conquer chess dot com one board gamer at a time.

NL, idk if you know how POGGED this content is; the other day I searched “chess” on youtube on a new computer+browser, and your video was 6th (!!) on the recommended list. That’s after all the usual chess vids like Levy or Agad. And it makes sense, all the other channels are GMs and IMs and are a bit intimidating. You, on the other hand, are the perfect combination of casual and competitive, banter and strategy, tactics and blunders, POG and POGress, salt and egg. NL if your new monitor has higher than 60 hz refresh rate, double check that you have it enabled in your display settings in windows. It defaults to 60 usually, even if higher is possible.

I haven't played on this website, but if you're expecting the trade can't you just put in a premove? If they don't take it won't be valid so you can do something else, and if they do you're already set

I already heard about your new monitor, but it has always been absolutely insane to me that you've been a streamer and youtuber for 10 years and STILL had a 1080p/60hz monitor until a few days ago. And to echo what others have said, make sure 144hz is enabled.

Activate "premove" option in the settings. You need it specially in fast time controls.

You have to try the lichess website too. Lichess premoves don't deduct time at all (but you can only make one) maybe you'll benefit from it. It's a great site overall
