I'm Australian too and while you're right about Americans saying the same shit about Australians all the time, it's not the least bit annoying - it's just what they do. The thing that always gets me is that Americans seems to surprised when they visit the cities and they're just the same as normal cities anywhere else. "Melbourne just feels like Seattle" is a claim I've heard a few times. It's like they think we all live in shitty suburbs on the edge of the desert because what's where most Australian dramas are set. Fun fact: much of The Matrix was shot in Sydney because the filming laws were more permissive than elsewhere.

Small tangent here but I do think there is a character now in DC who´s super power is to be slow Same as the Flash has the Speed force this asshole has the _creatively_ named Slow force. But I don´t really know I dont read comics THO there is a book series calle Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson in which (in its second trilogy) there is a character that has the ability to create a Slow Time Bubble around herself It slows her and everything within it in relation to the outside world So if you walked by her a distance away while using it she would appear frozen in time And from the inside everyone outside seems to move like the flash cheers BTW they are really good High Fantasy books 11/10 would recommend
