Goat clan? Interesting choice. Out of the four primary Norse livestock, goats have the lowest "symbolic value" (cows > pigs > sheep > goats) but are arguably the most versatile, since they give meat, wool, _and_ milk. This suggests a clan without much prestige, but one that's capable of doing anything it needs to. Boring, but practical. Hopefully, EE's limited skill lets him live up to this ideal. The practical half, at least.

I started drinking goat milk when my intolerance for cow's milk was too much for me. at first i though it had an odd taste because i wasn't used to it but now i find it's delicious sweet and creamy while cow's milk is disgusting and has a watery bitter/sour taste to it (and that's the whole cow's milk. skim is way worse). It's easier to digest due to having naturally smaller fat molecules. It is naturally homogenized whereas cow's milk has to undergo a man-made processing technique to keep it from separating while it's sitting in your refrigerator. Goat's milk has less lactose (milk sugar) which also make it easier to digest. It’s less allergenic due to the protein contents. One of the most common allergies in children under the of age of 3 in the United States is a dairy-allergy and it has a lot to do with a particular protein in the milk called Alpha s1 Casein. The levels of Alpha s1 Casein are about 89% less in goats milk. - which is one of the main reasons why people who have dairy sensitivities may get away with consuming goats milk as an alternative. Goat’s milk matches up to the human body better than cow’s milk. Goat’s milk is slightly alkaline, unlike cow’s milk which is slightly acidic. Nutritionally speaking, goats milk is a good source of protein, contains less sugar (lactose), 13% more calcium, 25% more vitamin B6, 47% more vitamin A, and 134% more potassium than regular cow’s milk. Also, most goat's milk and other goat dairy products tend to be less tainted with added starches , sugars, and preservatives. 65% of the milk consumption worldwide is from goat’s milk, and this popularity hasn’t come about due to high profile marketing campaigns or big-budget advertisements. Goat meat is one of the healthier meats out there. Goat meat is actually lower in calories, total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol than not just lamb, pork and beef meats, but also turkey and chicken meat. Additionally, goat meat has higher levels of iron than the other meats. Goat meat also has higher levels of potassium and lower levels of sodium than the other four meats. Thus it is healthier option for people with hypertension, heart and kidney disease. Clinical studies conducted by Harvard University, confirmed that while the saturated fat contributes to cardiovascular risks, the unsaturated fats could help enhance the good cholesterol, stabilize the heartbeat and offer many other health benefits. Thus, goat meat is nutritionally superior to all the other meats including turkey and chicken meat. So other than fish, goat meat is the best meat to consume. because goats are not factory farmed in the same manner as many cows, pigs, and chickens in America, they are likely to have been raised without added growth hormones and antibiotics. In fact, just about all goat meat that reaches American tables comes from small domestic and international farms. Goat meat leaves a small environmental footprint. Unlike the grazing cow, which destroys root systems and eats up vitamin rich grass from the soil, goats are browsers. They eat brush and weeds, restoring pastures by eliminating competition for water and nutrients. In short: Goat meat is lean and clean Cashmere is super soft and a pretty good material (although the price is daunting) it's about 7 times warmer than sheep wool, lightweight, and breathable. Cashmere is useful in any climate around the world. Mohair is coarser than cashmere but still an exceptionally soft luxury fabric fiber. Just like cashmere, mohair has great insulation, is moisture wicking, and has great natural flexibility. mohair is also more durable than cashmere. As an added plus: mohair is hypoallergenic so even people with wool allergies can wear it.

Just gotta say, anyone who sticks up for goats like that, deserves a like.
@enzorocha29776 жыл бұрын
This is true probably because goats give the least meat and they breed slowly (last I checked, they give 2 kids vs 6-8 piglets for sows in their respective breeding cycles). Other livestock gives leather too, but a winter coat from goat wool is more valuable and effective presumably. Yay 2018! :)

An interesting idea that I would love to see implemented into this game (if at all possible) would be to change the wolves AI pattern. 1.) Only attacking Villagers/Settlements if the number of wolves is greater than the number of population in the area, if someone has invaded the area of the wolves den, or if they are starving. 2.) You can "run away" from wolves encounters by sacrificing meat to them (decreasing your food value), but doing so would make the wolves more likely to return seeking more food if they get hungry and attack if they aren't given food. If you give a wolf food enough time, they become "Loyal" and become something like a villager that can be used for protection.

Yep, build the Sheepfold right next to the wolves. Yyyep. Haha. Just kidding. Thank you for this video. Didn't know about this game until now. =) Update: I noticed the wolf corpses simply disappearing; they should make it so that the carcasses remain, and villagers automatically prioritize dealing with them to get fur and other resources, maybe not meat from wolves unless there's starvation or something, but at least for the fur and anything else useful, fat or whatever. And carcasses stay usable longer during winter, that sort of thing. Update: And the pace or speed is fine, by the way. In fact, I'm watching at 1.5x normal speed of the video, and other people can watch slower using a Chrome extension like Video Speed Controller, or simply the KZbin speed feature itself in the gear icon.

I know this is a 2 week old video, but no, its not firewood because of warm coats, its firewood because you dry and burn the pellets that come out the back end of your majestic goat. Bears also do like swimming, and hang around water a lot, so its not that immersion breaking one would be in the pond.
