Dover / Otis Traction Elevators - St. Louis County Courthouse - Duluth, MN

These are the Dover / Otis traction elevators at the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth, Minnesota. These are the main elevators on the south side of the building, which you'll first see when you enter the building from the ground level. They are originally Otis and were modernized by Dover. I'm sure these will be due for another modernization in the near future, but they're left the way I always remember them for now! There is also another elevator on the north side of the building that used to have these same Dover fixtures, but has recently been modernized with Innovation fixtures. I imagine that MEI did the modernization on the north elevator as you can see that MEI is maintaining these elevators by the "In case of emergency..." signs.
