I really respect them for making down to my neck of the woods twicw over the past few years as gigs here (Albury) become less and less abundant. If you guys havent yet, check out their new studio video. A fair few pre-pro samples are in there and they sound great. As for Northlane, im loving the shit out of this song. Hope to catch them live sooner rather than later!

Im a bigger fan of The Storm Picturesque, but I really cant wait until both theirs and Northlanes albums drop so I can decide which one I like better. Northlane have really raised the bar with this track. The great thing is, I know both albums are going to rule. Some great new Aussie bands with a new style. You're right about that, they're more mid ranged than high. People just tend to call them highs because they're not lows. Check out the band Greeley Estates, the vocalist fries really damn high in some songs. (A fry by itself is just a creaking sound. These are fry screams incorporating vocal fry into a yell/scream)
