CoastCore TV you do know that they decided to make it this way? the production would've been horrible if they didn't stretch the rules that were set for them, to be honest it sounds a lot better and they are staying true to their path no ones making them sell out and i doubt they will ever.

This is definately the best song off the album. They didn't hold back on the riffs. A few of the other songs sound too much the same, riffs the same. The chaotic sound is what made Northlane unique, glad at least one song captured that as much as possible.

Yup! Been playing guitar ever since my uncle got me into it when i was 12, and I was always searching for that "Djent" kind of dark-prog style music, Cloudkicker and a few other people/bands were the first things i ever found, and then the whole Djent thing like blew up, I enjoy playing drums more than guitar but this genre gives the guitarists sort of a way to play a bigger part in the rhythm and I love it! (Although not sure my neighbors do >.>) Hahh

This song is proof that they could write another album filled with heavy songs, but they're evolving as a band and trying new horizons. They've gone through every aspect of their skills throughout the project, I feel fans from discoveries, singularity and node will all find their happy place in this album. And the way the cleans and screams have been used on this song is just fucking fantastic. Marcus shines bright here!

Pilot of the biomachine Manning the controls of a babbling monkey The circuits behind the interface can’t be seen So the truth is up to me Is this life but a dream Is reality all my senses perceive? It tears me apart from the inside The story we’ve accepted with malleable minds Dogmatic perceptions designed In egotistical pride Have led us blind Short of sight Wondering why our lives feel like they’re lacking meaning We have stopped believing This is just a ride Is reality all my senses perceive? Is what I touch and I see all that lies in front of me? We wonder why our lives feel like they’re lacking meaning We’ve stopped believing This is just a ride
