I’m binge watching your channel from the beginning. 😅 I love that you showed making the ENTIRE bouquet and didn’t skip ahead. Very informative!!! Thank you! We have flipped houses our whole marriage and have finally settled into a longterm property. My raised beds go in next year…. Hopefully this fall if I can!! I’ve been collecting seeds for several seasons now. So excited.

The bouquet turned out beautifully. That is one of my favorite hymns. The author of that hymn lived three towns away from me. He wrote and lived in the town of Pitman, NJ Your mother played it beautifully.

Nothing more satisfying and beautiful than flower arranging and listening to a very precious hymn on the piano. From reading the comments I understand that it is your mother playing. Does she sell her music or can I find her on KZbin or elsewhere? Thank you for your lovely videos. XOX

Beautiful work! I used to make small arrangements for all around the house and loved it! Where I live now, there are any florist shop and no flowers... So I want to make my own cutting small garden but don't know what plants to buy and plant except few... I am trying to learn the names from you but not always I understand the names and not always you say, I wish you did... What's the name of the little white flowers? Doesn't seem as baby breath... Thank u!

Gorgeous!! Did you add Stock to the bouquet....I thought it looked like a couple stems of white Stock. I grew Stock for the first time this year, and it was wonderful! So sweetly fragrant! Great video!

Hey!! Please tell me your stock secrets! I failed miserably with it a few years ago. So. Many. Bugs. It was madame butterfly snap🌸
@Stauffer-fs8kz4 жыл бұрын
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens Hmmmm......I bought the Stock (Katz variety) from a local plug supplier.....so I didn't start it myself. They were in a 48 count tray, so were pretty small when I got them. I netted them, fertilized, and watered them, and they bloomed beautifully. I didn't have any bug issues with them. Do you know what kind of bug it was? The only kind of bug issue I have had on any plant so far this season is a tiny black bug (aphid?) LOADED on a Dara type plant. I used "Safer" Insecticidal Soap. It worked great! The plant thankfully was not in bloom yet. Hope you can figure it out, because Stock are SOOOOO lovely!! Mine were blooming the same time as my Ranunculus, which was a perfect combination. Have a wonderful week....it's supposed to be a warm one! :)
@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens4 жыл бұрын
@@Stauffer-fs8kz Thank you so much! The Katz variety from your supplier - did you have to separate the doubles out from the singles? I thought really early in the season it was flea beetles because I was having a hard time seeing the bug and getting holes in the leaves, but then as the season went on it seemed like tarnish plant bug also got them because the buds where deformed. I'm glad you told me you like them - I'll have to give it a go again next year!
@Stauffer-fs8kz4 жыл бұрын
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens Danielle, my supplier hadn't known about the cold treatment to separate singles from doubles--she thought she would try my instructions on how to do it (from Johnnys Seeds), but apparently she didn't get around to it. It was their first year of taking over the Plug business, so they likely had too much going. I ended up using the singles some in bouquets anyway as filler....they still smell so lovely! I would be happy to pass on my supplier connection if you can figure out how to privately message me. They did a super job otherwise, and had great prices on 48 count flats. They are located in Ephrata. Hope you can have success with Stock next year!
