If I ever decide to try making a figurine myself one day it would definitely to have to be a larger size at first because there is no way in hell I would be able to pull off that level of detail at that tiny size with my current nonexistent skillset. XP And also thanks for the sources for miniatures painting to check out, a lot of other crafters would neglect to mention that kind of thing.

Getting stupid good buddy! How many times have you snapped off an aluminEEum arm adjusting a pose and rage quit for the day? Oh, and what tool are you using to manipulate the green sculpting material? Looks like a flexible plastic wedge? OH (Triple Edit) - capes ARE awesome. Good choice.

1. Suprisingly few, it's malleable enough that I can bend it quite a few times before it breaks. But yes, enough times that I film the tears off camera. 2. I assume you mean the clay shaper--it's like a paint brush but with a thick silicon end. Means nothing sticks to it, and if you use a tiny bit of vaseline/oil you can smooth green stuff like a pro. 3. And yes, ignore Edna. Capes forever.

Hey man! This is excellent stuff! I love it! I have question regarding the sculpey, mine is dry and flaking when I work it, any suggestions on that?
@NorthoftheBorder3 жыл бұрын
Cheers! It depends, generally that just means you need to keep working it. It should soften up, assuming it's not too dry already. Is it firm/medium/soft? You can also get a softener from sculpey made specifically to "re-hydrate", so short of buying new stuff, that's the cheapest way of breathing life into old clay.
