You need to get big boss to show us his disassembly technique. A lot of people trip up there. Ungluing screens how he keeps his screws so he knows where they go back etc.
@Mandrag0ras3 жыл бұрын
True. There are valuable lessons to learn in dissasembly too.
@Mandrag0ras3 жыл бұрын
Although I understand if he didn't because editing extra videos take up a lot of his very limited time.
@stefanlechner3 жыл бұрын
Oh yes thats true. Maybe alex should do videos from disassembly too from time to time. That would be interesting

Pity I cant link to comments but Alex yesterday (previous vid) commented that he is adding cam to bigboss bench soon.

It is so great to see you work together with your father! It reminds me of my uncle and his son, my cousin. They too worked together on projects. The latest project was making midwife stetoscopes in wood. They both made those in a lathe. My cousin made labels on a mac computer. Some years later both had died. My uncle of old age(94), but his son died premature(62) of an infection. A couple of years later I had a dream were I saw both in lathe shop working on wood. They seemed very happy and buisy working together. I was in good mood when I woke up, but a little sad when I realized that they both were deceased.

A couple of months ago I had to replace the same port on e585 after customer (nice lady) tripped on the chord and pulled the c port up. Believe me it was not so easy for me to source the correct port in my location. Anyway. Literally 2 weeks later. Back again. Tripped on the chord. Pulled the other side of the pads off. Repaired traces. Replaced port....again. few weeks later....... Wrote it off after she tripped on the chord again. Destroyed all hope of repairing the port. Killed the display and housing. Bought the same damn laptop to replace it........not seen her since. Maybe she learned her lesson..... Remains to be seen. But it certainly gave me some E585 USBC port finding experience.
