Yesterday (for the first time in my life) replaced my screen and now have the same issue. Will see if I can repair it myself (and maybe cause more damage while doing it). did not know the pins were so fragile. Good lesson...

I had the same issue of battery icon showing 1% and then in some seconds showing full battery. Works few mins and then reboots to show 1% battery. A local shop said battery is gone and replaced iPad battery. But the problem still persists. It seems that my old might be working one and there may be problem with battery connector. I am worried that the local shop won't be able to fix this problem. :( I am in India. 🤦‍♀️

@@galianudeepreddy1910 I kept charging my iPad for few days daily and daily switching off. Now it got fixed by itself, working fine. But yes I paid for the battery. Anyway it's working so I am okay. The model was iPad air 1 with 128GB memory. I paid Rs.5000 for the new battery.

@@galianudeepreddy1910 I would suggest visit the guy who repaired it. May be in a hurry he might have missed something while assembling it back. Tell him about the issue. It's little difficult to reopen and assemble it back as it is really hectic process. But he has done the job it should be done correctly.
