Northumberland's newest railway opens today

Today sees the opening of the Northumberland line, serving the communities of Ashington, Bedlington, Blyth, Seaton Delaval and beyond.
This railway has not see passenger services in over 60 years and this marks a monumental moment in the South Northumberland area.
Having taken over 5 years of planning and construction today we see the line open with just Ashington and Seaton Delaval stations operating with the other stations opening in 2025.
Yesterday I was out with the drone capturing the line before its first trains take passengers
