This video was so good. I learned so much not just about baskets but about preserving them, how museums go about learning, and the wonderful skill of this man keeping his traditions alive. What a fantastic video. Thank you.

Beautiful and functional. These crafts should not be allowed to die or the languages the craftsmen spoke. They are National and World Treasures.

I have an old linen pillowcase embroidered in North West style. Can't find much information about it. Perhaps young women were taught embroidery in school? The animals depicted are dolphins and octopuses.
