Norvil Commando Starter Woes - Continued!

This video shows the Norvil Commando that I worked on a few months ago back in the workshop as the sprag bearing on the starter motor is failing to engage - again! We tried WD40, but it only lasted a couple of weeks. What to do now - fill the chaincase with oil or try the oil recommended by Norvil - which was in there to begin with and didn't work??

I remember when they first put electric starters on triumph and Norton, expecting them to start like a honda was a leap of faith

I dumped my belt drive and went back to chain to restore the electric start.

I can probably find the code for mine (a Honda colour) or you could contact Norvil to find out what colour red they use on their bikes.
