Flying over one of the most beautiful roads in Norway. Norwegian road FV108 through the sea from island to island leading to summer paradise at Hvaler islands. Stunning daylight drone footage and evening time lapse with dreamy music of John T. Graham.
Hvaler islands are located at sea in Oslofjord, snow is not often there and winter aerial footage in good sunny weather might be quite rare. In 2021, new cycling and walkway were opened along the road and now you can enjoy a wonderful walk with great views!
Hvaler
As you drive from Kråkerøy onto the Kjøkøysund Bridge, we can sense it - some excitement in the air, we’re getting close. But it is when we turn a bend onto the Puttesund Bridge that a whole new world opens up. This is the gateway to the Hvaler Paradise Islands.
The Hvaler Islands consist of more than 833 islands and skerries - there is pretty much a warm beach and a sheltered bay for every taste. Hvaler offers delights by land and by sea. The island paradise is perfect both for day trips and long explorations.
Ytre Hvaler National Park
The national park is in the municipalities of Hvaler and Fredrikstad. In the south, the park borders the Kosterhavet Marine National Park in Sweden.
Ytre Hvaler National Park consists of muddy seabeds and rocky sea bottom with its rich underwater ecosystem containing corals and kelp forest. Land areas have a varied plant and animal life with many Red Listed species, coastal woodland shaped by the wind, and rocks worn smooth by waves and ice. Many areas are grazed to preserve rare plants, insects, and birds, which depend upon the open landscape.
About Us:
We are traveling across Norway with caravan Hymer Eriba Troll 530 Rockabilly. Most of our trips are relatively short and start from Fredrikstad in Norway. For those who are limited in time, you might discover what you could see during a two-day or three-day trip in Southern Norway. To get more impressions from an uncommon perspective we are flying over Norway with drones and making short drone films and travel vlogs in 4K.
You are welcome to leave your questions in the comments to the video and we will try to answer our best!
