Ulrikke could be the clear winner here. I mean, to me, she sounds like a rightful EUROVISION winner, so surely if so many people are having the same BIG reaction to the song, then surely she will win MGP? If you read the backstory to the song, it definitely causes a tear to the eye.

I'm rooting for Umami Tsunami to win MGP. The live performance was really good, energetic and fresh. It's what we need in Eurovision.

I love Ulrikke's song so much, and I just hope we don't mess it up. As much as I didn't want juries in MGP, I am glad to know that they hopefully will be there to help guide us if our televote fails to recognize Honestly as a potential to do really well in Liverpool. Also quite like Alessandras and Kates songs, so I'd love for those to qualify but wouldn't be mad about any of the other songs either as this semi has a lot of fun songs (don't expect the clubby beat to be a winner this year, though)

So happy to see you again for this MGP season. My top 3 is not a shock at all 1 Ulrikke 2 Alessandra and 3 Rasmus. Also like Kate G very well.. (Norways repr in ESC 1987 - check that out!!)

I think you have some very good points about Ulrikke's song. It obviously is built for Eurovision and a live performance, so I'm hoping that it will elevate on the stage :) Ulrikke's have shown us before that she can sing, so I have no doubts that it will be amazing! When it comes to Alessandra, I'm more concerned about the live performance, and why is it only 2:28 seconds? ....

My order are Alessandra, Eirik Naess, Ulrikke, Kate Gulbrandsen, Rasmus Thall, Umami Tsunami, Jowst. The MV for Waves brings it up a lot for me so I hope the staging is similar. Honestly is worse than Attention imo, just because there are parts of it I don't love, the clapping and the orchestration mainly. Kate's song is so lovely. I get that it's not too competitive but I know it will be good live as she is a seasoned performer (she represented Norway in the 80s). Geronimo and Freaky are just not for me, although I have seen support for Geronimo. I like Tresko but some may see it as a joke entry since it's pretty out there

I guess I’m the opposite and prefer when there’s not an immediate payoff in the first chorus. I like when the full chorus is only in the 2nd chorus . Maybe that’s why Kate’s song is my favourite in this heat. Also agree that Honestly, although good, sounds very much “Eurovision by numbers”!

Well Katie G song is about her husband who commited suicide and left her and their child. Not praying on history of the song tho. Never underestimate power of K-pop voters . Not sure if they qualify but they cannot be counted out. Ulrikke probably winner of the semi and guaranteed top3 If not the ESC.
