This is maybe the finest Norwegian road trip video that I have found on KZbin, and I have seen many! Wonderful quality, great camera work, magnificent scenery and the little family cameos add a lovely touch. Thank you so much for sharing, and greetings from Australia. We have visited Norway twice together, and myself another two times back in the 1970s. We absolutely love Norway, and it's people.

Absolutely beautiful video, didn't care for most of the music so I muted it. Not just a complaint with this video, but it would be a good idea for anyone posting a " travelogue " type video to include details about time of year depicted in the video. This appears to be fall, or the end of winter? Did appreciate the " subtitles " and the description that detailed the days of each segment and where you stayed.

Fantastic video thanks for uploading, I am taking my family on a 6 weeks road trip this summer 2018 from UK to Helsinki and Helsinki to Nordkapp via Rovaniemi and a 16 day road trip from Nordkapp to Oslo and back to the UK via Tromso, Senja, Lofoten Islands, Trondheim, Alesund, Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo and on to the UK. Could you please share your camping, cabin experiences and where to camp or book cabins on the way from Nordkapp to Oslo, and if we do free camping how do we have a bath, because we are going up north via Sweden to Nordkapp and any other advice since we are travelling with 3 children under 8 years old, we plan to do a mixture of cabins, campgrounds and Airbnb up north to make it more adventurous for the kids and more hotels and Airbnb as we get down south, thanks

Bondhusbreen is very difficult to find. If you Google it, you will find the area where it is. But when you get there, there is only the tiniest little sign for it, which is very hard to spot. GPS also couldn't find it. But it was our most favorite walk in Norway and it is well worth the effort to find it!

Our budget for 2,5 weeks was just over £1000, which included car hire and accommodation. Car hire was the most expensive part. We stayed in little cabins in campsites, Norway has loads of them. We lived off sandwiches for pretty much all of the trip, not once did we go to a restaurant. So whilst Norway is a very expensive country, it can be experienced on a budget.

Yes. We didn't spend all that much on gas as we only had a little car, which used very little fuel.

End of May, beginning of June. It was the perfect time. It was warm, but there was plenty of snow in the higher elevations. And most importantly, there were hardly any other tourists.

My daughter was 5 years old on this trip, she is used to traveling so she had no problems and she really enjoyed the trip. But we spent many hours in the car. With a younger child, it might be worth doing less and taking it slower. We also came with all sorts of games we could play while driving, from the traditional I Spy to What animal am I thinking of. BTW, as an American, I have been to/through a few areas that refer to themselves as " GOD'S COUNTRY ". From this video, I would have to think Norway is GOD'S COUNTRY. HE saved the best for the top of the world and made it just a bit difficult to get to...actually, a very good idea.
