NORWAY ROADTRIP 7 " EIDFJORD to ODDA " via Rv 13. Drive along the fjord!

Car ride from Eidfjord to Odda.
DISTANCE - 1 hours and 10 minutes (69.8 km) via Rv 7 and Rv13 road: Lofthus, Kinsarvik and along the Hardangerfjord.
‘’EIDFJORD’’ - home to the famous Norseman Extreme Triatlon, Kjeåsen mountain farm, Vøringfossen waterfalls, a cruise port where large ships up to 350 meters in length can dock during the months of February to October, and many other activities and beautiful nature spots!
Eidfjord municipality begins at sea level along the fjord, the valleys leading away from the fjord are surrounded by high mountains which lead up to the alpine plateau called Hardangervidda.
"ODDA" - has a proud industrial heritage; the town played a pioneering role in Norway’s industrialisation. It is situated at the head of the Sørfjorden, the southernmost end of the famous Hardangerfjord. The 180 kilometer long Hardangerfjord is the second longest fjord in Norway.
The Oddadalen Valley has the famous waterfalls like Låtefoss and Tjørnadalsfossen Waterfalls. Buerdalen Valley and Buerbreen Glacier at Odda. Join a Boat Fjord Safari in the fjord. In the middle of Sørfjorden, you find the beautiful village Lofthus. Dronningsstien, one of Her Majesty Queen Sonja´s favorite hiking trails.
From Odda you can also take an amazing hiking trip to the Trolltunga with great views!
