The NCO has one of the best sounds and timbres I have ever heard from a chamber ensemble and orchestra. Please keep up the amazing work everyone. Though I am from the US, I would love to come visit Norge just to go watch your performance. Ha en veldig god dag. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I just love this orchestra's energy, crisp articulation, expression and richness of timbre (I much prefer 4 celli + 2 basses than 3 + 1 in a chamber orchestra, despite the challenge of 2 basses). It's a shame I live so far away in Australia, otherwise I be an NCO groupie for sure! 🙂. Keep up the great work!

Without knowing I believe that Mendelssohn very much looked at Bach composing this music. As perhaps a tribute to his Master. Great playing as usual from Norwegian Chamber Orchestra!

They need a conductor; it's very uneven. The sound is sometimes too harsh, and there's not enough balance or contrast between forte and piano. There's also a lack of richness in the sound. Many of these shortcomings can be resolved with a good conductor.
