Ich habe einige Jahre in Glomfjord gelebt und kenne das Kolonnenfahren sehr gut. Mein Vater ist Norweger und lebt in Arendal, immer wenn ich im Winter runter bin um ihn zu besuchen war im Auto als Standard; Schlafsack, Decke, Rettungsfolie, ein Sack Feuerholz, ein Beil, Grillanzünder, ein Topf, Tee und Essen für zwei Tage. Die E6 ist nicht immer Spaß. Wenn ich nach Deutschland bin bin ich immer nach Schweden rüber und dann runter, die Straßen sind dort wesentlich besser. Nach Tromsø sollst auch, da kommt meine Familie her! Schönes Video und eine unfallfreie Fahrt, Gruß aus Århus in DK.

Ja das stimmt. Man kann sich das als zentral Europäer nicht vorstellen aber wenn man bei minus 28 Grad beim Toiletten Gang stolpert und nicht mehr aufstehen kann wird mann leider sterben....Århus habe ich auch schon geladen. Liebe Grüße Gerhard

@@Donnerknall71 Und das dauert nicht lange! Mir ist nach 3 Std Fahrt das Waschwasser eingefroren und das komplett. Hat zwei Tage in der Garage gebraucht um das aufzutauen. Die meisten unterschätzen die Verhältnisse komplett. Ein wird schon gut gehen oder könnte klappen gibt es dort nicht. Wie Du schon sagst, eigentlich bist du schneller tot als du dahingekommen bist.

Ich wollte dir nur eben mitteilen das du mein Abo hast, inwiefern sowas hilft weiß ich nicht aber wenn es hilft unterstütze ich dich damit wirklich gerne. Mein Name ist typisch norwegisch, Lars. Wird aber in Norwegen komplett anders ausgesprochen, mit Larsch. Weiterhin gut Fahrt und achte bitte auf Elche. Ich habe in meiner Zeit dort zu hauf Fahrzeuge nach der Kollision mit Elchen gesehen, man man; und das Geweih ist in ca deiner Sitzhöhe nicht zu vergessen.

how is it driving a 2axle in these winter conditions? I'm curious as we used to see a lot of them with troubles during winter before. Now we see a lot of them disappearing in the weeks leading up to winter and then they come back in summer.

Am Sonntag Ca.13.30h den Zoll erledigt am Björnfjell. Dann 2 Stunden gewartet auf den Blizzard Service, um nach Norwegen zu kommen. In Bjerkvik dann an der Tankstelle 24 Stunden Ruhezeit eingelegt. Da wird schon eine tolle Leistung erbracht, von Schweden und Norwegen ,um diese Strecke befahrbar zu halten.

Deshalb zahlen wir alle Maut , nicht nur LKWs. Damit Strassen wie diese auch im Winter befahren werden koennen. Aber Nordnorwegen ist schlimmer, da war es nur etwas stuermisch, bei starkem Schneestuermen wird die Strasse gesperrt fuer alle.

Ja in Björnfjell trennt den Sonnen Aufgang vom Sonnenuntergang nur 45 Minuten. In Tromsø gab es keinen Aufgang oder Untergang...da ist es dunkel...nicht ganz hell...und finster ggggg

erstaunlich wenig Schnee auf der Straße von Kiruna zur Grenze; Wann hast das aufgenommen? Ohje das üben wir aber nochmal mit der Kolonnenfahrt. In der Kolonne IMMER mit Warnblinker fahren 23:50 deswegen bleibt man in Sichtweite der Rückleuchten und Warnblinker des Vorausfahrers, denn bei manchen Passagen sieht man WIRKLICH nichts mehr von der Straße und kann sich nur einzig und allein am Vorausfahrrer orientieren. Das geht natürlich nicht, wenn die nimmer in Reichweite sind

Bei so hohen Minusgraden ist der Schnee wie Pulver. Dazu noch der starke Wind, da wird alles weggeblasen. Zur Grenze rauf nach Björnfjell wurde die Straße stellenweise, innerhalb von 2 Stunden, 1,5 Meter hoch zugeweht. Ich war der letzte im Konvoi um genug Schwung aufzubauen für die Steigungen. Da brauchte ich keine Warnblinker.

@@Donnerknall71 klar, wenn die Hauptstraßen freihalten dann fahren die da auch mal im 10 bis 15 Minuten Takt, kenn ich bestens, ich war da ne ganze Zeit lang im Norden. Im Konvoi hat ausnahmslos jedes Fahrzeug, vom ersten bis zum letzten Fahrzeug, mit Warnblinker zu fahren

...."...IMMER mit Warnblinker fahren...". You seem to be more focused on rules than rational thinking and what really matters in every situation. In this case the truck in the video was driving last in the convoy, hence no one behind him that needed some blinking light as guidance. What really matters here was that neither the driver nor the equipment seemed up to the task. There was a reason that the driver was asked by the Norwegian crew how many tons the truck had on the drive axle and also placed the truck last in the convoy. From the picture of the truck in the beginning of the video it seem like the truck has not 3 axles (no tag axle for lift that transferring weight / possibility for increasing ground pressure ). No one drive in Norway with a 2 axle truck like the one in the video which is unsuited for winter conditions and slippery steep terrain. It also look like the trailer has 3 axles. That is also a recipe for having problem on winter roads. Three axle trailers gives next no pressure on the drive axle on the truck. Such an equipment is not suited for winter conditions and therefor he was placed in last place to avoid that he might get stuck and block the road for everybody else in the convoy. The driver could not keep up with the rest of the convoy which is important for his own best (not to get stuck in the snow and hence initiate a rescue mission and block traffic for others waiting to cross the mountain) ....the hazard blinker helps nothing and nobody. The important thing here is that both the driver and the equipment has nothing in winter Norway to do out from the above mentioned. On general basis I can also say that what in central Europe are called "winter tyres" do not stand up to the requirements for winter tires (given by law) in Norway. I live up north in the area shown in the video so I know the condition well. All the time are there accidents on the roads due to inexperienced foreign drivers with trucks that are unsuited for the winter conditions. Blocking the roads (often with no alternative routes to by pass) is a common thing but also sadly there happens deadly accidents. So these things should be taken very serious.

" of course he's not prepared. Central Europeans aren't used to lots of snow or even a solid shield of ice on the road surface. Even in the mountainious areas roads are often rather clear of snow. Also, as you mentioned looking at the pic at the beginning, most tractor units in central Europe have only 2 axles, not 3 as it would be common up there. Austrians are definetly used to both winter conditions and steep terrain, but still it's an entirely different world "On general basis I can also say that what in central Europe are called "winter tires" do not stand up to the requirements for winter tires (given by law) in Norway. " be sure, it's the same thing the other way around, too. Studded tires aren't legal down here, still you see Norwegian and Swedish tourists driving with those down here during the winter. But another factor is that the rubber is designed for a different temperature range. Temperatures in central Europe barely drop to -20°C while it's quite common up in the north (at least when you're not in a coastal area). Personally I think there should be cheap options for central Europeans heading north, to change "standard" winter tires for better winter tires (let it be studded or non studded tires), and the same thing the other way around for people from the north heading south. Unfortunately that's quite an expensive game. Did so when going up north last winter. Changed my winter tires for studded winter tires down in Gothenburg. Before that I read up test results on my standard winter tires which was overall very good for the typical conditions down here, but it was made clear that it's not suitable for extreme amounts of snow or extremly low temperatures

Es war Grenzwertig...Ich musste mir Schwung nehmen für die Steigungen um nicht hängen zu bleiben. Aber du kannst nicht schnell fahren wenn du nichts siehst....Aber ja alles gut bin wieder heil nach Hause gekommen.

Du hast Glück gehabt in der Kolonne denn eigentlich gilt Kettenpflicht! Und Du musst den Warnblinker anschalten. Mit dem Wetter bist du gut bedient gewesen, gerade die letzte Woche war im Bjørnfjell richtig 💩

Wenn du gleichmäßigen Abstand zu deinem Vordermann halten würdest, hättest du auch kein Problem, die Straße zu sehen!

Konnte ich nicht ich brauchte den Schwung für den Berg. Und wenn mit 60kmh Schneestaub angeflogen kommt dann kann höchstens Supermann durchsehen. LG Gerhard
