The person who cleans your cabin and would take the bed down and up is called the room/cabin steward. I had this cabin type before on the Epic and we were 3. So my daughter slept on sofa.

@@Vincente_Guerrero I have to tell you, we never had a bad meal on the ship the entire cruise. It was all fantastic! But, if we HAD to pick a "top 3", they would be, (in no particular order)... #1: We LOVE O'Sheehan's Bar and Grill! Located on deck 6, it's open 24 hours. It has just awesome comfort foods like Fish & Chips, (our youngest daughter's fav), a Rubin sandwich to die for, (my fav), Chicken Pot Pie , burgers and hot dogs. #2: The Manhattan Room. Located on deck 6. This is the ships main dining room. Awesome steaks, braised lamb Shank, Baked Gulf Shrimp, and amazing New York Style Cheesecake and Chocolate Caramel Louse. YUM! #3: Le Bistro (the ships French restaurant). Located on deck 5. There is an extra fee to eat here, $20 per person cover charge, but it is SO worth it!! Best Escargot I've ever had! Breaded and baked in Garlic Herb Butter. OMG! I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin followed by warm Apple Tatin for dessert. Reservations are highly recommend for this place. Also, If you are traveling with children 12 or under, they can eat for free off the children's menu or 1/2 price from the speciality menu. Hope this helps you. I will say again, every place we ate on board was excellent. This includes the buffet. One if the biggest buffets I've ever seen. They have everything! Enjoy!!! 😉❤️☮️

@@Vincente_Guerrero I completely forgot the last part of your question... The bowling! Just put in for a time you'd like to bowl. There are 3 lanes and there are TWO bowling alleys! One is inside O'Sheehan's Bar and Grill on deck 6 and the other in is the Bliss Bar on deck 7. A charge of $5 per game applies. This includes your shoe and ball rental. I only saw one couple bowling the entire cruise, so lanes we're always available. However, I've heard this varies from cruise to cruise.

Thank you for the tour. My friends and I are taking this ship in Oct. embarking from Rome and returning to Rome. I would prefer to wash my hands post toilet before I contaminate the toilet door and have to go into the room to the sink. No wonder NCL decided to not build the two sister ships.

I just got back room 10304 definitely not a fan of the layout. Don’t like the idea of the toilet separate from the sink when you need to wash your hands ...

Don't reconsider it! Go! I promise you'll love this ship. The bathroom really didn't wind up being any kind of an issue with us. The ship is one of the BEST ones we've ever been on. So much to do on it. You'll have a blast!

Nice cabin BUT why on earth would they have the bathroom sink OUTSIDE in the cabin? Well, at least one person can shower, while another uses the commode.... that could be a good thing! Still, frosted doors? Ugh!!!

awww giant hugs for the albans!!! if i could afford it i would send you all on another cruise ...and give you an upgrade to a h u g e suite ... so you and mema and papa could all share and still have loads of room for activities like private bathing ... jacuzzi on deck ... 6 beach loungers ... loads of free nibbles etc etc ... thanks for sharing your lovely experiences!!! 💗💗💗

I read somewhere that the feedback on the bathroom layout was so bad, NCL cancelled the order they had on a sister ship. Nickname for this ship is the Epic Fail.

We honestly never had a problem with it. Everything is very well vented, so no "smells" in the room. The ship itself is one of the most beautiful we've ever been on. Food, service & entertainment we're all top notch. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom area never was or became an issue.

Even with the curtain closed, if somebody enters the room from the hallway, then there is ZERO privacy. Also, when you walk out of the shower into the hallway, you're walking on carpet with a dripping body. When using the toilet, you have to use your dirty hands on the door handle so you can walk over to the sink to wash your hands. While washing your hands, in the middle of the night, after toileting, then you can easily wake up the people who are sleeping. This entire toilet/shower privacy issue (plus hygiene issue) would be enough for me to pass on booking on the Epic. My other concerns would be that the bed is full length right down the middle, great for one person. But when sharing a bed, I would expect feel would be hanging off of the end. And, not sure how a curved couch with no arm rests would offer comfy seating. And the person sitting close to the door is facing away from the television.

Hello Dominic. Don't know when we'll be on the Epic again. I wish I could say it will be soon, but unfortunately I know it won't be. It's a toilet that comes with a bedroom. Awful cabin.......please call it a ship not a boat. Great video though.

It's funny how quickly you adapt to things. It turned out to not be a problem at all. The curtin worked fine and everything in the toilet area is very well vented out. No smells came out into the room. It wound up being quite comfortable. There was so much to do on the ship, we barely were in the cabin except to sleep. Thank for watching. 😉❤️☮️

The bathroom area is VERY well vented. No "smells" ever came out into the room. I was actually amazed myself. Besides, there is so much to do on the ship, we were barely ever in the room except to sleep. It was one of the best cruises we've ever been on. Thanks for watching! 😉❤️☮️

Once we got used to it, it wasn't actually that bad. Out of all the cruises we've been on, this ship was the most fun we've ever been on.
